UBD Studio offers the personalised attention and commitment you expect from a small design studio, combined with the established expertise and experience of large multidisciplinary design teams, on the basis of small to large-scale projects (3 to 350 M€).
Our mission is to propose, uphold, and optimise the decisive choices of a project within the current context of project "fabrication" : interdisciplinary, experimental by aspiration and necessity, collaborative, and digital (BIM). The digital model of the project, along with collaborative work applications, establishes the operating mode within small, nimble, and proficient design teams in their fields, to avoid the pitfalls of working in silos.
A design culture rooted in the european context
Pondering the absolute nature of practices and standards, a key to innovation, is not easy without changing the environment. Practising in several countries allows to diversify the points of view, and gives rise to the necessary hindsight to provide a truly creative response to new projects.
In particular, the level of consideration of the environmental impact of projects varies, depending on the country, in time and content: lessons can be learned. Efficient design work, and compliance with a regulation or a label, do not merge to ensure the sustainability of a project.
